Cookie policy
Last updated October 26, 2026This policy explains what QR Studio stores on your device. It separates cookies from local storage, because they work differently.
01Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser, which the browser sends back to the server on later visits.
Local storage (localStorage) also keeps data in your browser, but it is never sent to the server: only the page’s own code can read it.
02Cookies
QR Studio does not set any cookies, first-party or third-party. This was checked in a browser by going through the site, creating and downloading codes and switching language.
Hosting provider cookies: Cloudflare only sets cookies when certain features are turned on, such as bot protection (the __cf_bm cookie), security challenges (cf_clearance) or rate limiting. QR Studio does not use those features. If they were turned on, we would list them on this page.
03Local storage
When you pick a language with the language selector, QR Studio saves that choice in your browser’s local storage under the name qrs-lang. It is only used to take you to that language when you open the site’s main address. It is not sent to any server.
If you never switch language, nothing is stored.
04What we don’t store
Generator data (links, Wi-Fi passwords, contacts or logos) is not saved in cookies or in local storage. It is lost when you reload or close the page.
05Analytics and advertising
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies or similar tools. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first where required and update this page.
06How to delete it
You can delete this site’s local storage from your browser settings (site data). The site keeps working without it; it just won’t remember your language.
